Learn Quran Online in Vienna
What times suit Vienna families best?
Vienna and Egypt are in almost the same time zone — the same clock time in summer, one hour apart in winter — so afternoon and evening classes after school (roughly 4-8 PM) work smoothly for both sides.
Is this in German, English or Arabic?
Classes are typically taught in English or Arabic, with teachers able to explain concepts simply for children who are more comfortable in German at school. Just let us know your child's preference when you book the free trial.
Do you serve families across all of Vienna's districts?
Yes — since classes are one-on-one over video, families in any Bezirk, from Favoriten to Döbling, get the exact same experience.
My child struggles to balance school and Quran memorization — can this help?
Yes. Sessions are typically 30 minutes and scheduled around school hours, so memorization becomes a steady daily habit rather than one more long weekend commitment.
Why do people say Egyptian teachers have a special recitation style?
Egypt has one of the world's most respected traditions of Quran recitation, known for a clear, expressive and deeply moving vocal style. Every Alhamd Academy teacher is a graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo and trained in this tradition — often exactly what families are looking for when choosing a teacher for their children.

- An estimated 38% of Austria's roughly 745,000 Muslims live in Vienna alone, making it home to the country's by far largest and fastest-growing Muslim community.

What I appreciate most is that the teachers truly care. They celebrate every small milestone with you and always push you to keep going.
United Arab Emirates
- Vienna and Egypt are in almost the same time zone — the same clock time in summer, one hour apart in winter — so afternoon and evening classes after school (roughly 4-8 PM) work smoothly for both sides.
- Classes are booked at a fixed weekly time you choose, over Zoom or Google Meet, using a shared digital Mushaf and whiteboard so both teacher and student see exactly the same text and corrections in real time. A typical session runs 30 to 60 minutes, and most Vienna families settle on two to three sessions a week — enough for steady progress without competing with homework, football practice or family time.
- Because every class is one-on-one, rescheduling around a work trip, a school holiday, or Ramadan's shifted routine is a message away, not a missed week of group instruction you have to catch up on alone.
